ABOUT

Clay is from the, not so small, town of Wylie, Texas, just outside of Dallas and is a "tall drink of water" Country Artist with roots in traditional and modern country music. His deep, bass voice has been described as "smooth as Tennessee Whiskey". His love for music began at the age of eight when he began classical voice training with private lessons. At the age of eleven, he began singing at his hometown local venue, the Wylie Opry, and continued to play the opry circuit around North Texas. This time-honored country music venue exposed him to music from legends such as Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Cash. However, he also has a love for modern country and is influenced by artists such as Chris Young, Josh Turner, and Craig Morgan.

A seasoned entertainer, Clay has performed many acoustic gigs since age fourteen. He has also performed at Arlington Music Hall, Grapevine Opry (now Main Stage Live), Six Flags, House of Blues and B.B. Kings in Nashville. He has won a few singing competitions in the North Texas area. Through his experience, he is comfortable performing for a small, intimate gathering or a large crowd. He has had the honor of recording his new EP, with his latest single, at the iconic Blackbird Studios. This single, “Your Daddy’s Town”, is a smooth rockin’ runaway story between two young love-struck individuals. His smooth vocals, charismatic personality, and friendly manner never fail to please a crowd.  His dream is to use his gift from God to inspire and share his love of music with others.
